Help for ChessMagic Game Options
_____________________________________________________________________________
Moves: To enter a move, enter it in 1 of the following formats,
e2-e4 e2;e4 or e2 e4 then press return. Always make
sure there is a delimeter in the moves. Any character
can be used. ChessMagic only recognizes long algebraic
notation. Castling is the only exception, enter castling
by o-o (letter O) or o-o-o for castling long.
Options

C = Lists captured pieces for both sides and the point values.
D = Offer Opponent a Draw
When a draw offer has been made, it is available to accept until a move
is made. It does not disappear if you exit the game without responding to
the draw offer. When a move is made, the draw is automatically withdrawn.
R = Resign your Game
U = Take Back your move
Take backs are not allowed when playing against the computer or an
online game against a human opponent.
I = Invert the Game Board
K = Kill the game. If you do not want to participate in this game, and
you have not made a move, pressing K will kill or delete the game.
No ratings or stats are affected.
L = Displays game moves.
M = Enter a Message
To exit Message Entry, depress ESC to exit the message area. When
entering the message area, the previous message is erased.
N = Go to Next Game
Automatically displays the next available game.
Enter Nxxx, where xxx = a game number, to go directly to that game.
P = Enter Personal Notes
This area is private and only visible by you. This is an area where
you can keep notes on the game being played.
F = Refresh the Screen
V = Used to replay a game online. The commands will appear in the
status box, [F]orward, [B]ackward, [R]eset and [Q]uit.
F = advances 1 move. B = Backs up 1 move. R = resets the board
to the starting position. Q = Quit the view option.
T = If/Then Moves. This feature permits a player to enter up to
20 moves in advance. The player can attempt to guess what his
opponent's reply will be, and if it matches, it will proceed in
making the move contained in the If/Then list. When selecting
this feature, the player will make moves for both sides.
Q = Quit to the Menu
X = Return to BBS
SPACE=When playing against the computer, pressing SPACE will abort the
computer's move. Pressing S will let the computer resume it's move.
